Really enjoyed watching yesterday xc. There are so many good mares now at the top of the sport which I love to see.
Will be a very exciting showjumping today. Hope Graffenacht and William can do it x
Maybe just her body has overreacted to the tiny abrasion. We had a dainty little mare on the livery yard I worked at who was swollen and lame from a similar tiny over reach boot abrasion one day. Cleared up in a few days, try not to worry. I think she’ll be fine

I have just had hoof boot shop fitter out for my tb mares hinds and she said only boot that will work is the equine fusions. Tried them out last night and success so far! Mare is very bouncy in them and they didn’t move.
Excited to see what the future brings with them!
Gosh that was a torrid week for you.

Oh no! There is always something isn’t there!
I’ve been to hell and back with this hole in the foot and the mud. I am wise enough to not get too giddy about one good hack in the evening sun.
Good luck, hopefully yours is just a small blip and the vet won’t be concerned come tmrw 🤞
Hi, just checking in how you are getting on?
I have had great success with sugar and iodine in the hole in the sole. Almost miraculous transformation from hobbling around to galloping round the field in 12 hours!
Also just purchased equine fusions for the hinds and just ridden out in them and...
A friend has an old boy in his 20’s now that is still extremely suspicious of poles. Every lesson was pretty much a reintroduction of the poles on the ground that were in the same place week after week. I think some just never get over it. Perhaps they are thinking snakes! Like huge big snakes...
Only a thought. I wonder if this is dominant behaviour? Maybe he has learned he can scare you by being grumpy. I watch a lot of Steve Young horsemanship on YouTube, and he would teach the horse to respect you as the leader rather than being allowed to push you about. Basic manners.
Obviously...
