I love greys too. I have a grey arab mare who i love to bits. She has a sarcoid which i have recently had removed but it certainly hasn't put me off greys. I've also just bought another grey arab gelding. I love them.
All other colours / breeds come with their problems too....
GO FOR IT

I recently bought an arab mare with sarcoids - she had loads! Two big ones and lots of tiny ones. I paid £2500 for her and I don't regret it at all. I've had the two larger ones treated. As long as you know what to expect, I can't see a problem. Plus, i fell in love with her and i just had to...
She had her teeth done last month and i had a peek in her mouth yesterday and i certainly couldn't see anything troubling. She's ok in herself, eating etc. Our grass is very short so im suspecting glands but i'll put a call in to the vet tomorrovv...
Hello. I noticed a few days ago that my horse has some slight facial swelling. Its underneath from her muzzle to her throat. Her cheeks are very slightly up too? I'm thinking that its probably just glands but am interested to hear any other views. i.e do i need to call vet etc?
I'd always chose DIY over part livery. It will be hard but I love seeing my mare twice a day, plus, im a control freak too and i'd much rather have me do her than someone else! ha ha ha
It'll be a shock but you'll love it eventually although it will be a good idea to have a friend who can help...
