White jods - I like the Tagg ones as they are nice and stretchy, last a while, dont discolour, are warmer than some (not as thin) and are only about £50 unlike most which are about £70+...

Do you ever have lunge lessons?

I remember having one a while back, really good for fitness, its amazing how much you can improve just in 1/2 sessions. I havent had one for a while as theres nothing on the yard at the moment that would put up with it for long!

How important is the environment when training your horses?

Also be careful turning out in bright sunlight & dewy long wet grass for longish periods of time. We;ve never had any mud fever caused by MUD but some of mine get exactly the same condition but caused by dew/wet grass and strong sunlight. Vet said its been getting really common in the last...

All muck out every day, cant stand it done any other way! 2 new bales a week (tues & fri) per stable, if they are going out I leave the bed up. Takes about 10 mins per horse

    3yr olds/age classes and backing???

Ours have all been backed and put over a fence and hacked out. We've chosen the best 2 (ie the ones we want to keep as long term prospects) and they are back in the field until March. They will not really be doing the 4 year olds seriously as we prefer to take our time with the ones we're...
