Can anyone recommend a decent fly rug that doesn't make them too hot?
I've not used one before as we are in an exposed, windy location but my mare is quite fine and does tend to get swollen if she is bitten badly.
I've read about a Rambo fly buster rug that had repellant in it and lasts...
What size would you recommend? I am a 10-12 UK size.
The equiports look great but quite pricey..how do they compare price wise to the Pikeur?
Thank you for all you help! much appreciated :0)

My boots are black too so I thought a black jacket might be smarter :0) Have you come across any nice ones??
Hi,
I have just returned to competing after having a 10 year break so I am not up to speed on what people are wearing these days to compete in.
I used to wear a navy show jacket with velvet collar - is that old fashioned now?
I heard that some people wear these new Musto jackets or that black...
I would personally go for the lorry as you can drive them on a car license and you dont have to worry about taking your trailer test or having to reverse the trailer into difficult spaces! Just have to make sure the weight allowance is enough to take your horses and equipment etc.
Our menage is due to have a top up. It was created about 15 years ago with a potash surface. We will mainly be using it for schooling and showjumping so was thinking of going for a rubber surface. Can anyone recommend which is better - between the mixed sand and rubber or just the larger rubber...
I tried NAF Magic last night to try and relax my horse as she is still being marish with the horse in the next patch. She became lame when they were put together as she galloped around the field so I had to separate them again to rest her leg. She is now sound but I will try anything to keep her...
It can get very windy where I live as it is high up but dont the old style have a tendancy to rot? I only want about 3 decent fences plus enough poles for gridwork as it is to go in a menage.
You can register via the BE site and they also give details about opportunities coming up that they still need help with.

I did some dressage writing at Chatsworth Horse Trials and loved it! I was there from about 10am til 4pm but learnt a lot and got to watch some lovely horses. Would definately recommend it.
Does anyone have the integral polyjump wings or the combi block? They look good online but would be keen to hear from anyone who has them as to whether they are worth the price!
