Looks like a cold sore, my mare had one this summer and normal boots cold sore cream cleared it up. Bonjela should do the same though.

Looking very fat and she s put on 50 kilos since last winter, this photo was taken in may, she lives out 24/7 and feed a bit of chaff and pink powders when she works.
