    Tracing Irish Horses

I've actually had some luck- I messaged some irish dealers on Facebook to ask for thei advice and one immediately noticed a resemblance with the stallion Cavalier Two for Joy- I've looked into this and makes so much sense! He has two white eyes which has been commented on by a few as to how rare...

    Tracing Irish Horses

Chip matches definitely as was checked when I had him vetted. I suspected it may not be so easy! I will write to the person who passported him and see where we go from there :-) thank you all

    Tracing Irish Horses

Hello, has anyone ever had any luck tracing an irish horse's breeding? I bought a horse last year that is white passported so has nothing recorded and I am keen to find out what he is made up of! If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I have looked on Horse...

Brilliant thank you! I usually get very similar comments across the board but recently seem to have turned a corner so will see if this reflects! Thank you :-)

BE vs BD Dressage - marking difference?

I was wondering whether I should expect any difference in %'s between BE tests and BD tests? I bought my horse in April and did a half season of BE at BE90 level with scores usually around low 30's, and previously was doing unaffiliated dressage scoring low 70's in Prelim and mid 60's Novice. I...

    Lorry/Horse Box Sharing Derbyshire

Hello, thank you for coming back to me. Yes I will more than likely be heading to Barleyfields in the not too distant future with a hacking companion - will need to test his tolerance to the underpass under the A50 (quite low ceiling height for a 17hh!). Very lucky being based at Hargate but...

    Horse Box/Lorry Sharing Derbyshire

Hello, I was wondering whether anyone in the Derbyshire region was out and about competing in dressage? I have a 17hh ex-racehorse that I am retraining and I am hoping to start getting him out and about over the next few months but unfortunately don't have any transport. I am based at Hargate in...

    Time Saving Tips

Pre-filling haynets is a bit difficult as he has 5 per day and I don't have room to store them (on livery). Deep littering would be an option but something I have never tried. Do I basically take the worst out and top up with bed each day? Thanks for tips!

    Healthy Tummy feed

I've fed Healthy Tummy and not convinced by it. Didn't see any real improvement if anything the opposite from being on Alfa-A Oil originally. Now switching back.
