Facebook - Horse shot by livery owner

The RSPCA will probably not do anything. They keep over 100 horses there and the other man arrested is the man who takes in and rehomes those horses for the RSPCA so he is really an RSPCA worker. He has a license to slaughter becasuse he often does with the RSPCA cases and he is also in...

    opening a tack shop

My friend opened a tack shop a couple of years ago and didn't make it through the year. The main problem she found wasn't custom but was the bigger shops such a ride away demanding exclusivity in the area from suppliers so it was very difficult for her to stock the range of brands that people...

Am I too big for the horse?

oh good another reply that I like! I know people say that Natives and M and M's etc can carry more weight but I just felt so big on her when I tried her. I got used to it after a while! Are Hafflingers technically M and M's or am I wrong?

Am I too big for the horse?

Hi everyone, I am just looking for some opinions. I have found a horse, well pony that I would really like to buy and she is perfect for me in every way. She is a 14.1 Hafflinger, so yes a pony but a sturdy and wide one. At 5 foot 6 and just under 11 stone would I be too big for this...

5 leg injuries in 2 years. Would you give up?

I talked about it on the phone to my vet and he did not seem familiar with the condition which seemed strange but he said he would do some research. Yes I think turning him away is the best option but I am so pleased that I came on here and can see that other people think it is the right choice...

5 leg injuries in 2 years. Would you give up?

I am wondering if shoes off and turning him away would be a good option, I just don't think I can put him through more box rest, he has had a lifetimes worth in two years and as its summer he would be pretty much by himself 24/7 which is just awful, thanks for your replies

Hi everyone, I am having to make a really difficult decision and would like to know what people think. Hi everyone, I am finally in a place where I can upgrade my yaris to something able to pull a trailer. But it does not seem as simple as I first thought! I was looking at a BMW x3 but now thinking that may not be substancial. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on good 4x4's for pulling...
