This is kind of what I was thinking...there are some other animals there too which are kept in less than ideal conditions but i guess i WHW would only deal with the horses...

I know, its not so much the turnout issue, although that isnt my way of keeping horses but i appreciate that lots of people dont turn out in winter, however them being stood in dirty beds without food or water troubles me...

I know of a yard locally to me where all of the horses are stabled 24/7 during winter. There is no walker and they are not ridden or turned out at all. The owner of said horses and yard goes to do them in the morning, and skips them out, gives them hay and a normal sized trug of water, and...

i'm not much help to be honest, i once had this same scare with my mare but it turned out fine. If you are in doubt talk to your vet and they might suggest getting her scanned....

mine were loopy today 2 living out were running around having a great time, the 2 that come in were on their toes but quite settled once they were in....i hate the wind i hope it dies down by tomorrow i'm meant to have a lesson but my horse is a nightmare in the wind!

I'm looking for another horse and all I seem to be finding is TB mares and thats not what I am looking for as I already have one!! I'm sure you will find something when you least expect it, i always find the more i scour the ads the less i find then i come across the perfect horse by accident...

I poo pick at the weekends and do a bulk load, would never leave it longer than this as it looks awful and can't be good for the grass! In Summer I poo pick daily that way it takes 10 minutes max and keeps fields clear. I also have 4 horses so its a lot of poo!
