Sorry to hear about your saddle problems so annoying, Why dont you give Barnsby a call, they will come out for free at the moment and as they are master saddlers if something can be done to fit your saddle they will do, worth a try and I know they do flexi pay on new saddles

have you tried Barnsby saddlery? they make everything to order and even if its not on the website then can make it for you, I had a comfort Bridle made with a hunt nose band for by Big horse, didnt cost any more either

I no they seem abit pricey but have you tried Barnsby? (£1200 for a high quality GP), they travel all over the country (free at the moment, saw the offer in Horse and hound) the price on the website is inclusve of alterations/colour choices/different panels/tree etc. They also do fab follow up...

from experience it depends why they wont hack, A horse I know well will not hack at all, he's scared to death of anything with wheels or an engine! years of competent people trying to help him get habituated to thing failed, it was just to stressfull and upsetting for him. Lovely fantastic...

When I used to be down in Hampshire I used to use a lady called Hilary Vernon, she saddle fits for Barnsby and also has her own bitting range called informed bitting (really helpfully esp with my very fuss mare!) so you can kill to birds with one stone!:D

Why don't you ring Barnsby? see if they can help, I no that they are currently running a free saddle health check service(in H&H) this week, could be worth a visit and wont cost you a penny........

My TB mare acted the same when I had her at college with me, always fence walking for hours and hours rain or shine (not unusal she also boxs walks alot and will never stand still). When one of the other mare's was put on box rest for a month she stopped fence walking, move her in to a field...

Have you tried Barnsby saddlery? I was having problems with my Albion as it was rubbing my pony's back (she had bulked since getting the saddle made). Rang barnsby and some one came out within two days, moved some flocking around and hay presto it fits again

I did the same thing last week my TB was out nearly all last year, apart from the heavy snow.This year ive been a right wimp so just went for it, She still gets breakfast tea and hay and shes wearing a heavy weight rug :D She doesnt care less and no mucking out yipee!

Barnsby do a saddle especially for Haflingers also they have different trees that they can build saddles on to suit, worth a try, they were fab when I got mine from them:)

I really really really want a Barnsby xtreem event saddle, the one Mary King rides in, it has good reviews and completely besopke so guessing you could pick colour tree seat size extra, but as I no longer event would be a bit silly,
