Can you recommend a good tail guard? Never done much travelling with my horse but I have been recently and found that he does lean back. Would prefer one that stays put and I don't have to use a bandage with Thanks in advance :)

Can;t find anything on how the strap under the bit works? If its like a flash? Can anyone help?

Any experiences?? My horse can be quite mouthy and fuss a bit, would the micklem bridle help? Also, he's never had a flash on his bridle and doesn't need one, how does the strap that goes under the bit work? Is it like a flash? Thanks :)

My horse had quite bad mud fever, had antibiotics from vet and it went in no time! As advised by the vet, I trimmed hair on legs so that they wouldn't hold the water for as long and dry quicker. I bought him in on a morning, washed legs, they dried in a couple of hours so he had dry, clean legs...

Just got rid of mud fever from my horse but now there is bare skin where the scabs were (some are quite large). Can anyone suggest a good cream/lotion that will act as a barrier but also help heal and soothe the skin? I have looked at these two products if anyone has any feedback on them...

What do you find works best for preventing mud fever?

I have the glaciers which are just the all leather version and I love them, super comfy, keep your feet warm and great to ride in too :)

My horse always goes loose in winter and the only thing that works is pure feeds, it has probiotics, brewers yeast etc in it and that must be what sorts it. Last year I also gave protexin with it but to be honest I don't think that's what made the difference. You could always take the endurance...
