Hi all, I'm thinking of swapping my aging Ifor Williams 510 trailer for a Bateson Deauville trailer with Boston doors. I'm going to be using the trailer for my horses (14.2 Connie and a 15hh Appaloosa) as well as probably transporting my goats in it. I've seen on the Bateson website that they...
The person who I am looking at them to buy them for already has some county style pull on boots designed for riding, which they wore twice but due to an ankle injury can no longer get their foot around the ankle bend into the boot. I fell across these country boots with the inside zip, they...
I have an Amigo rug and liner for my Appy girl, and an Amigo rug and a Premier Equine liner for my Connie (fits the Amigo rug really well). Both turnouts are 250g, but I think if I bought new rugs again I would go 100g or no fill rugs and buy a couple more liners in different weights. The...
I've seen some boots I am tempted to buy (Not for me though, lol and for rider not for horse). Only issue with them is that they have an inside zip. The saddle they will be used with has a full sheepskin cover so not so worried about the saddle being scratched by the zip, but what about pressure...
It s fab having them at home, even though I had to move to a different country to get them here, lol.
My Sensations are both 19 inches long underneath, they are a 16inch Hybrid and a 15.5inch Westlish (Western seat sizes). I did have a 17inch seat dressage trail on my 12hh Section A and it...
He's good thank you, he's retired now and I have my Appy girl as my main riding horse. We've been through quite a few saddles now but settled on Sensations.
I've just realized who you are! :D You used to be on NR as Showjumper and had Dolly, and Kai was a baby :D I remember your saddle, lol. You probably don't remember me, but I have Shay (was Ted) and also had treeless saddles, you helped me an awful lot when I was just getting into treeless and...
I didn't go out to pick my Appy girl, I saw her dam advertised for sale and liked her, and I had seen her sire and liked him, then when she was born I decided spur of the moment I would go and buy her, I'm glad I did as she's just my type, I would def have another Appy.
Our Connie we did pick...
I have a dodgy ankle, I ride fairly long-ish as too short stirrups really hurt my ankle, but I use endurance stirrups and they are fab, really help with ankle and ball of foot pain.
I did one and went back to 'normal' gazing, as I just couldn't keep my horses out of the middle grazing, they just trashed the fencing all the time.
Now I have moved here my grazing isn't as good and can get quite wet, I have a stone track that takes my horses to their barn and grazing, so it's...
