When I lived in Germany my dogs were always getting ticks and whenever I removed them they were always left with a lump. It usually went down after a few days.

It could be that she is going through a fussy stage or still settling in but to put your mind at rest pop her along to the vets to be on the safe side.

Have you thought about trying a Bioflow Magnetic Collar? My mum bought one years ago for one of our Buhunds and it made a big difference to her. It would be better trying something like that first before perhaps having to give her Metacam.

Yes it is a Basenji:) Thank you for the welcome:) I can't off the top of my head think of another breed that has 3 different sizes either, well not in the UK anyway.

Yep have used this method on more than one occasion and it really does work:D

I have mini and standard Schnauzers at the ringcraft that I go to. I have found that the mini's are very yappy and a bit sharper with other dogs than the standard size. Can't comment on the Giant's as have never really had any regular contact with any.
