Thank you. I'm sure it will settle down it was just a bit (read VERY!) unnerving! Thank you. Keeping the field split in mind just incase it's needed!

    Livery getting me down.

I actually really like the place! I had some trouble with previous field sharer which made life difficult but everyone else is so lovely and so helpful, I'd hate to leave. The owners are lovely too and my boy has a huge field. I'm very lucky. I guess I just haven't had a proper chance to settle...

    Livery getting me down.

It's a constant worry isn't it?! Having a horse is hard! :) Yard owner isn't that hands on. It's not a proper livery yard more a farm renting out fields. I've calmed down a bit now. Feeling a bit better. I hope they will sort out their new little herd soon and it will all fall into place...

    Livery getting me down.

Thank you. I've got someone to come down with me but I really shouldn't need it. I just want to be able to enjoy my horse! Oh I'm fine with my horse no problem with him at all he's so good. He was very happy and settled, of course he's got to settle again now with this change. My boy and I...

    Livery getting me down.

Unfortunatley that's not the only reason I've not settled. I've had some real trouble with the previous field share. As she was there first she saw it as her field and I was told if I don't do things her way I need to leave! I went to the yard owner with that and this is how I've now got this...

    Livery getting me down.

Thanks for your replies. I'm very very tired so a little more sensative then usual! This horse was well out of the way when I was leading my boy and then he was just suddenly there charging. It's a big yard but with mostly grass liveries and the horses are only there as one way to make...

    Livery getting me down.

Please be gentle cus I'm actually in tears about this. I've not been happy at my livery yard since I got my boy only a few weeks ago. Long story, however I thought all would be sorted when my boy's new field mate arrived. Problem is I'm so scared of this horse! He's been charging around...

    feet problem, help!

Thank you all. It looks very dramatic to be just shedding. Feet get picked everyday and no bedding to keep clean - he lives out. Just today to go then hopefully the farrier can put my mind at rest. Thanks again x

    feet problem, help!

Oh thank you! I've got myself in such a tizz over this. I suspected thrush but he's my first horse, I've only had him 4 weeks and it's all still new and scary! Will hang on till Friday and see what farrier says. Thanks again.

    feet problem, help!

I hope someone has some idea what this is cus I'm freaking out! Picking out my horses feet today one of his frogs just started crumbling white spongy stuff. It just kind of broke away. It's now happening in 3 of his feet and I don't know what it is or what to do. He is shod all round...

The boy won't eat his vitamins!

It looks like he'll end up with that. I bought the equibites because loads of people said their horses absolutely love them. His field mate likes them but mine, no! Thanks for your help. I'll have to track a vit and min lick down :)

The boy won't eat his vitamins!

I bought the boy a tub of equibites thinking they would be ideal to give him for his vitamins and minerals. He's grass kept and has no hard feed. Will the blighter eat them? No he will not! I've put them in his bucket with a mixture of apple and carrot pieces. He ate all the apple, some of...
