Could you try riding behind - maybe find a horse to out out with with a similar walking pace to your own?

Do you ride in front, behind or two abreast when out with other horses?

Losing our animal counter-parts is never easy, I can sympathise with you. In saying this, I do not mean you don't miss your little man, its obvious you do, but do you have another dog or is it a case of 'i miss my little man but i also miss playing with/walking/having fun with a dog aswell'?

That would put my dog at risk, and thats not something i'm willing to do.
