    Hacking with others

Could you try riding behind - maybe find a horse to out out with with a similar walking pace to your own?

    Hacking with others

Do you ride in front, behind or two abreast when out with other horses?

Can anybody tell me how to get over...

Losing our animal counter-parts is never easy, I can sympathise with you. In saying this, I do not mean you don't miss your little man, its obvious you do, but do you have another dog or is it a case of 'i miss my little man but i also miss playing with/walking/having fun with a dog aswell'?

aggressive dogs off leads *warning rant*

That would put my dog at risk, and thats not something i'm willing to do.

aggressive dogs off leads *warning rant*

Just come back from a gentle walk with Buster, and for the past week or so I've bumped into a young male (late teens) with two agressive, intact staffys off the lead - at the end of my road is the north circular - a very busy road for those not familar with the area. They run across the road...

who do i report this to? *sad

I'd love to see him in a happy situation. :( Poor doggie! Could punch him in the eyes but that won't solve anything!

What breed of dog would you recommend for us?

Another one for a staffy, i've got a staffy X, he loves a good run, but is equally happy curled up on the sofa getting cuddles. He was easy to train - I got him just under a year old and he'd not had any training, at just over 2, hes as perfect as I could ask for, loves kids, loves other dogs -...

Thanks for the suggestions guys - the man has been spoken to by myself and others in the past about dog training etc - a few of us have even offered to help him find somewhere (mine was trained by me with no issues so don't know much about classes near by) . I shall find out how to contact my...

who do i report this to? *sad

Theres an oldish man (estimate 60) lives near me who owns a German Shepard, lovely with humans, hates other dogs, I just put Buster on the lead. He can't control the dog, drags him all over - lets face it they are big dogs. Today the GS barked at Buster and was promptly punched by the old...

    Some praise for children/teens

Horse is fine :) I'd much rather they asked rather than fought alone. Don't mind adults either, aslong as they've got common sense!

    Some praise for children/teens

I see alot of posts whinging about children/teens on yards but I have a positive story to share! I was at my friends livery yard last week, theres her 4 horses, 2 adult liverys and two younger ones. We'd been catching in the horses when one of the teens came up to me crying - not...
