I need some advice on how to stop rugs rubbing on a horses shoulders .He is a 15.2 full TB and already wears a purpose made bib(mark todd ) that is supposed to stop rubbing .It doesnt work for him as he now has no hair on his shoulders at all and i am worried they are sore and will get worse...

My daughter uses one on her 15.2 ex racer as he really loves to roll .She loves it and it certainly keeps him clean and does not move .I think you must be careful to get the right size as they need to be snug in order to keep them in place .

I have been looking at the energy value of this feed and Baileys NO 4 recently as we had a skinny TB .The No 4 provides about 13.5 mj/kg ( digestible energy) compared with normal pony nuts at about 9mj/kg .And outshine provides 24mj/kg ,so if you are really looking for condition then outshine...

Not sure how to fix it but it is not a legal requirement as our lorry has passed its plating twice with one that does the same as yours .Just have to be careful through the speed cameras etc .
