Always been wary of turning horse out with a hood but I am sick of having a muddy headed grey. Seen these and they are supposed to be good, don't move, etc.

Anyone got one and are they as good as they say ?

My daughter uses one on her 15.2 ex racer as he really loves to roll .She loves it and it certainly keeps him clean and does not move .I think you must be careful to get the right size as they need to be snug in order to keep them in place .

Yes! I have two. They do have to be snug but they don't move. I've turned out plaited up before now with one on and everything has been fine in the morning.

Had a Snuggy T/O for one of my horses for around 2 years now. I was concerned like you about hoods. But i can honestly say it's never moved & my WB is a Prat in the field. When i had the Hood it didnt fit right, so i sent it back with pic's of the horse wearing it & for £5 not including postage they altered the hood for me. It fits brill now.

I love the T/O Hoods so much i bought 2 more at YHL for a couple of my other horses. It's fab not having to worry about layers of mud as my land is clay so it's horrible.

Mine had his on one night. Next day I found it in a heap in the middle of the field. The zip had bust and he'd managed to riggle out of it! I still havent had it fixed, but am peeved as it shouldnt have bust!!

I use Horseware Amigo rugs with optional neck cover, they are great. i have 3 very different shaped horses and the rugs never move and the hoods are great, prob not as good in terms of coverage as a snuggy but hard wearing and good fit

My first one lasted 5 yyears, just replaced it as a youngster in my field finally destroyed it(there's only so many times you can repair it). Just onto my second.

It has never moved once!
