Burghley a couple of years ago.....I realised my camera was not coping with moving objects (that would be horses jumping big obstacles) so I switched to people watching.....Click the link for my "Burghley Boots" Album. One photo is much liked...
I think if you live near a rowing river or lake then it is cheap to join a club and get training. I have many friends and family members who row. It is not difficult to get into.
Solid wheels make the bike more aerodynamic. Spokes create turbulence in the air flowing around the bike and rider. In events where the cyclist needs to move around the track they use one wheel with spokes (3 or 5) to increase maneuverability.
I don't think Mike Tucker knows how to use a calculator, it's pathetic. His job is to inform, hopefully build suspense and he does neither. Drives me bonkers! All his dressage info comes from H&H Rio supplement. Lazy journalism. Aargh. Thank God for Mr. Storr.
Mike Tucker not seeming to realise this was a team competition......he should have known the % needed by C deJ to win the Gold and the % needed to lose the silver .....Rubbish output BBC. Loving Peter Storr. Well done Team GB, great effort all round.
The stats were simple to work out with the excellent online interactive results supplied by the host website. It was very clear to see the effect of one or two fences down on the final results. It would not have hurt Ian Stark to work it out as the summariser, although he did make a comment...
Mike Tucker is so unprofessional YET again. How dare he lose track of scores and who is where in the individual list (yes he said it himself live on air), what a shambles! it took him an age to realise France had won, he should have known the possible outcomes as Christopher Burton was jumping...
