Can anyone recommend a grippy stud girth? It needs to be brown. I normally use a neoprene type girth as recommended by my saddler as it was difficult to get a saddle to fit and does slip a little bit occasionally. Most the stud girths I can find seem to be leather!

I have also had a lot of success with calm & condition or copra with micronised linseed. With an older underweight horse I would also be tempted to feed 3/4 smaller meals a day as opposed to two larger feeds.

I also have this same problem with the 511 for my 15.1 horse. At the moment I tie it to the front rail and then use a bungee from the partition tie-up to the bottom of the net to pull it closer to him. It works for now but I will be seeking a more permanent solution from my father's DIY skills...

My new horse seems to have an unusual coat pattern in terms of hair direction. It is a bit like giant whirls all over his body. I haven't seen anything like this before and just wondered if anyone else has? And if there is any reason for it or it is just an odd variation?

Where do people buy extra large boots for their chunky horses. None of the extra full boots I pick up in my local tack shops are big enough for my horse. They won't even do up!! Has anyone got any recommendations of brands that do extra large gear?
