I know Faircote stud near forest row/colemans hatch is gorgeous however a tad expensive. There's also a few private yards in frow that sometimes have vacancies- i used to live in forest row so went to one of them. GOOD LUCK:) finding livery can be so annoying
i live in the south east and we are plagued by so many 'bad' dealers. All of these reputations are through word of mouth but its hard to go on horsemart without seeing a lovely horse, clicking on the link and discovering its from bad dealer x 's yard:(
...buy from a so called dodgy dealers yard?
even if the horse was seemingly perfect and it had been vetted? or would word of mouth reputation put you off no matter what?
not particularly planning to do this just wondering
I agree. I also personally think it's a bit risky to open writing the book to anyone as everyone has different views and methods so it could become a bit of a patchwork quilt of a book full of different views and as metalmare said, you could get a complete novice
definitely clicker training- i did that with my lad when he was on boxrest and it kept him entertained for hours. all you need is a dog training clicker from a pet shop and a low cal treat or reward- then google some exercises:)
Hot clothing and thatching:) also greeting other riders I meet and also checking my horse for lumps and bumps and picking his hooves out everyday- currently horseless for the minute but this was how I did it when I had merlin
