I'm always one to keep on top of cleaning my tack -infact... I love it.
I had a really bad fall in work which resulted in me being out for the past 12 weeks with more to come but I popped over to work the other day and the tack is crawling in mould.
What's the best way to treat the tack...

Hi guys,
I have a five year old who has just started to get out and about to shows. He has been on baileys no.4 (1scp x 2 daily) since December and blue chip. Although it helped a bit he is still looking a bit light and scrawny. I went into a show class yesterday and although he won, the judge...
Hi guys,
I was videoing my horse today jumping down a grid (3x trot poles, 2xbounces to a 1stride oxer). When I slow motioned it he wasn't sitting back on his hock to jump, it was like he was just cantering them. He is only young so I didn't want to build too big! X pole going in (on blocks) to...

Not too much to contribute but will watch this post carefully, my guy is the same, he is broken and rides well, jumps well but again turning him, he doesn't cross over! It will be interesting to see what comes back. Best of luck with your guy :-)

It is a horizontal cut, I have pics but don't know how to upload them off a phone? He has been stabled all of the time, barley leaving it as too much movement will be bad. For the past few days iv been just putting a dry pad and bandage on it but still no different. With the Manuka honey do you...
My horse got a cut in the field this day last week, it was a clean slice on the back of the hind leg just above the fetlock joint. A stitchable wound but with the location it can't be stitched. I poulticed for three days (nothing came out, it's a very clean cut/flap) and then applied noroclox...
I have a four year old 16hh horse, he has been in light work for the last few months. I jumped him over a small fence the other day and I felt him doing something funny behind. I decided to lunge him (I never had during breaking) and he won't stay united in canter and then he goes from...
We have 7 mares in which we breed from (generally no problem) but this year 3/7 of the mares came back with low progesterone levels and 2/3 were scanned empty at the 15day scan and were on regumate (vets orders). The other mare has had her heart beat scan and we need to keep her on regumate...
