Colic from grass cuttings advice please!

Thank you, that's really helpful. I am hopeful that if he did get to any it was only a relatively small amount. So far, no signs of anything amiss. We will certainly be keeping a closer eye than normal

Colic from grass cuttings advice please!

I know the timeframe, he could only have eaten them from 3pm yesterday until 2.30pm today. The pile must be at least a week old though. The horses were checked again at 7:30pm and were fine. Crossing my fingers that maybe he didn't actually get to any of the cuttings.

    Neosorexa gold help please

Thank you I didn't know about the laws on quantity of poison that could be sold. (And I don't know what piece of legislation governs that) The eBay store for the seller offers in 10, 20 or 30 sachets so based on what you have all said he shouldn't be doing this. I didn't notice before but the...

    Neosorexa gold help please

Just to clarify, the seller has not bought the powder loose and rebagged it. The sachets have been made up by the manufacturer. Obviously as said they have been bought in bulk and then sold separately. There are some details printed on the bags, and some safety information as you'd normally...

    Neosorexa gold help please

I purchased 20 x 100g sachets from eBay. I assumed they'd come in a proper tub with instructions but they were just in a plastic resealable bag (like a sandwich bag). I'm really not bothered about contacting trading standards I just want to know of the sachets are in date or not.

    Neosorexa gold help please

Well that assumes that I have not been sent something out of date! This is the reason I'm asking whether the date printed is date of expiry or date of manufacture as nothing on the sachet makes it clear.

    Neosorexa gold help please

Can anyone help with this rat poison please? I ordered online and have been sent loose sachets so no "instructions". Is the date printed on the individual sachet the date of expiry or the date of manufacture?

Help with selection of mains electric fence unit

Can anyone recommend a suitable mains-powered electric fence for me please? I share a small private DIY yard with a friend. We have a small paddock of 4-5 acres and just 3 horses. Our previous mains-powered box has failed and the yard owner will be responsible for the cost of the new box...

    Wintec "easy" change help please!

Thanks but it doesn't. I've watched all the videos and instructions and I understand how you're supposed to do it, I just cannot get the Velcro panel to sit back in place so as to get the screws done up.

    Wintec "easy" change help please!

Hi everyone Desperate for some advice please. Have bought a winter saddle in nearly new condition from eBay. Changing from red gullet to black (so two sizes). I've managed to get the black gullet in place and screwed in correctly, problem is now the Velcro just won't line up right...

Do you think a 'loaner' or rider would be interested in...

It might appeal to someone who knows its only a 3-4 year deal, so long as you're up front from the start then you may well find someone interested. It wouldn't appeal to me personally, I think I would feel that you were having the benefit of having the horse paid for and produced with very...

    Tumeric for old horses

Yes, I feed turmeric (with black pepper and coconut oil). I don't make the golden paste, just add the ingredients into feed. I do think it's made a difference and helped reduce stiffness.

Looking for grazing and stables in Milton Keynes

I guess I've been spoiled at previous and current yards! :) I'll have another chat with Angela at parks trust then. Did you find the grazing ok in those paddocks? I've been told they can get quite boggy? I'd be looking at the woughton ones
