Tent reproofer works best for me - plus its cheaper than the 'equestrian' alternative (we should call it equestrian tax, if its got anything to do with horses lets whack another 30% on the same product!)
See if you can find a 2nd Hand Pony Cob & Horse saddle, they are like hens teeth though! I was very lucky when I got mine, saw it on FB but it had been sold to someone in Wales, these people in Wales didn't want it as it didn't fit, so managed to get it at a good price! I have a xxxw welsh cob...
Mine had ringworm last year. We had some calves come to stay in an old shed which hadn't houses anything since foot and mouth, must have still been around in the wood etc, all the calves got it and some inquisitive kids thought it would be entertaining to touch the calves and then not knowing...
Mines come down with it yesterday - been watching him like a paranoid hawk.... thought I could trust someone bringing him in at the agreed time as discussed, she left him out 5 hours longer than I wanted and never told me. Come back to horse absolutely crippled. Heartbroken.
Anyone else suffered any problems?? I ordered some stuff for the horsebox, not delivered, no tracking number, only just managed to get hold of someone after ringing for hours, still no nearer getting any items or a refund!!!
Now that I've nearly finished renovating the living area of my horsebox I need to stock it full of essentials. So what do you all keep in yours? Particularly when staying away overnight.
Definitly overcomplicate feeds. My section d is on ab lib haylage, sugar beet, baileys no 19 and top chop zero. He also has a supplement to try and get rid of his god awful sarcoids
Dont go to Saddles Direct - totally useless! (Unless your desperate).
Showing saddles don't seem to be fetching much more than the 400-500 mark (from what I've seen). Try the various FB groups. Has taken me since August to sell my Fylde Mick for a decent price and not pennies like some people...
