What about the other Dogs Trust centres like the one in North West London?

Definitely keep going back as all the rescues will have new doggos each week and they won't all end up on the website, especially youngsters or the easier to rehome ones!
If they're coming down the yard and you're eyeing up a Dachshund, a Standard may be better than a Mini - the Minis are just SO SO TINY! And bound to get underfoot. You would also need to do a lot of training if they're off lead - especially if they get the whiff of a rat or rabbit and end up...
Definitely do lots of reading on the health problems of Dachshunds and King Charles Cavaliers and the health tests any breeders must do to try and avoid breeding pups with these problems. Know what questions to ask any potential breeder! Don't make the mistake of looking on freelistings for...
Dogs Trust have launched their end puppy smuggling campaign. If you go to their website at http://www.puppysmuggling.org.uk you can email your MP to put pressure on them to make changes to get it to stop.
I know a Dogo, has been through the courts and is now owned legally in the UK with BSL restrictions. She's a great big softy, lives with other dogs just fine. Nothing but a big couch potato.
BSL is so very flawed.
Carrot leaves are not poisonous. Totally safe to feed bunnies!
Readigrass is a good feed but more as a treat than a staple as it is quite rich, too rich for some rabbits and can upset their tums.
Definitely a big fat no to the hen.
For hutches, are you dead set on a hutch? The design is very antiquated and not very bun or people friendly! Do you have room for a shed and run instead? Mine are indoors now, but I do still have a 6x4 custom made shed attached to a 10x5 aviary for nice days...

If they definitely want a purebred pup, they'll have to contact a few breeders and join a list, they may have to wait a few months to a year or so for a litter though.
Or there are tons of Yorkies and their crosses that end up in rescue, including puppies. I mean look at this one! <3...
That's awful! Might have been a dodgy breeder, or even a smuggler posing as a breeder with a fake house, fake family, even fake dog mum. When they can get upwards of 10k for a litter, they don't care.
Unfortunately really for them, they do have fab personalities but there are so many buts! As Amy says, dog theft is huge at the moment and even higher with Frenchies, including having people breaking into houses specifically for the Frenchie. Poorly bred and even illegally-smuggled Frenchies are...
Yup it's basically a spine deformity. Which means they are more susceptible to other spinal problems including lose of use of their hind legs. One of a long list of health problems in these guys!
I don't think it is worsening, it's changing definitely thanks to the internet, but compare it to other countries with serious stray dog problems, you would rarely see loose dogs here now.
Unless everyone wakes up tomorrow and decides they don't want or like dogs anymore, there's always going...
