Thanks catroo - I use M&T conditioner on Donald's mane and being a highland it is thick. I just want to minimise the damage so he doesn't inadvertently end up with 'chunks' missing out of his mane as it is so beautiful! I will have a look and try some of these out :)

I am trying to find some suitable reins to use on my Highland Pony and naturally the typical rubber reins with the bobbles get matted in my pony's mane and I don't want it getting damaged as I need to show him in his natural state. I've been looking at some of the smooth rubber reins or half...
