Thorowgood do good changeable gullet saddles especially for either normal, high withers or low withers. But try calling a local saddler to see what they have :)
I have a JHL lightweight plus turnout and it is great - 80g rug with detachable neck (can't remember how strong it is but my boy hasn't ripped it yet!) And only about £60 brand new :)
U. If that doesnt show up then theres a picture on http://www.irishsporthorseagent.co.uk/2012/07/03/strongbow/
Or there are a couple on http://s837.photobucket.com/user/csewter/library/Mobile%20Uploads?sort=3&page=1
What breed??
Hi, i was just wondering if anyone could help me fin out what breed my horse is as it doesn't say on his passport he is 15hh and a bit chunky and i know he was defiantly born in Ireland... But I've had people tell me he's welsh or warmblood etc. so what do you think???
Thanks
I use easibed - cheapest i can access and really absorbant as well! Also its easy to muckout because all of the clean shavings fall through the fork so you save lots as well.
Ive only ever tried to fix one rug and it didnt work but my friend said she uses fishing line instead of thread because its really strong - dont know if its true or not though :/
When I got a saddle fitted for my cob with massive shoulders, my saddler said to use a vsd saddle because itt fits around his shoulders but it's still practically the same as a gp saddle so you can do anything in it. Hope this helps:)
Glad she's ok. I think she made the right decision. :)
Sounds just like the yard owner where i keep my horse - put the prices up £40 wihout notice and she sacked someone for putting a rug on wrong! :(
