I have the old macs g2 for my tb's fronts :) good quality and excellent grip! Don't turn or rub and very secure! They are more of a hassle to put on than the cavallos but it makes them stay put! :)
A week is nothing, it won't affect his fitness, try having a horse that has been on box rest for 5 months and now currently on another 5 months :p I agree with the above, get a physio to check and if everything's okay just turn out for a few days before riding to get rid of some energy :)

Her frogs definitely shouldn't be trimmed when barefoot as it it used to cushion the impact when they walk, I love seeing other barefoot horses and there improvements! The most exciting part is definitely the new hoof growth angle and of course hoof boot shopping! :)

I completely agree some people just need to mind their own business. My boys feet have really improved by being barefoot and its not even been 3 weeks!
