boring I know,
But can anybody point me in the direction of a decent very forward cut jump saddle, that will sit on a high wither medium sort of straight backed Warmblood. All the ordinary traditional jump saddles I’m trying are sit very high up on his withers, if this makes sense. Albions k2...
Hi,
I have a thorowgood t8 dressage which fits my ever changing horse well at the moment. Been on the lookout for a jump saddle for a while now since he outgrew previous saddle.
just wondering whether I am correct in assuming that both the t8 dressage and jump must be made on exactly the same...
Hi,
I’m beginning to look into getting a permanent competition jacket. Being quite tall and slim I’ve struggled to find anything in the past that accommodates the length of arm needed yet slim enough in the body.
I’m wondering if any of you have any ideas on brands etc to look at before going...
Hello, I have just acquired a Weatherbys TB and upon looking up how to change ownership re the passport, I came across the requirement to have a "ADMINISTRATION OF VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCTS SECTION". This is where I need one of you guys in the know to indicate to me exactly what I'm looking...
Thank you everybody, given me lots to think about regarding sedation. Just been researching dormosadan gel (not sure on spelling) so again, of anybody has had any dealings with that then please share your experiences of it whether positive or negative

Considering I ride a 13.2hh Dales x at 6ft2 and verging on 12st with no problem at all, I think the above isn't totally unacceptable. Ponies are capable of anything that the circumstances allow. For instance, a healthy Shetland is more likely to be able to carry more weight than a 18hh warmblood...
Yes, I was just worried i'd be forever repositioning multiple times per ride. But if you are sure it is dow to saddle fit, I shouldn't have a problem. Thankyou for your reply
I'm think of buying a polypad but im not sure on a few little things.
First, I cant decide on a size i'd have to buy for a general purpose 17.5" saddle with relatively "normal" length flaps.
Secondly, do you find that they move/slip around very much in use due to the lack of straps securing...
I'm around 6ft2 and ride a 13.3hh Dales x regularly with no hang ups. It may not be very pleasing to the eye but both him and I love our time riding so why not.
You will be fine, I assure you!!
I think I am definitely going to get some MegaTek after reading all these very promising sounding reviews on the product. I am hopeful it will eliminate the "current bane of my life"!!! ( can't you tell I am fanatical about my horses main! )
I don't believe so. The area has been looked at by a vet during a routine check-up and they said it wasn't indicating anything suspicious. Due to the length of time it has been, I am starting to think that maybe it wont grow back but for no apparent reason.
