Well.. His mane is slowly growing back after loosing most of it through the summer , it kind of went in between a hog and a really short moheekan! I liked it and he suited it . Irish draught x so had the kneck for it. But his forelock is a whole nother level !! It had gone reeelly long, so I...
My stables are 11ft by 22ft so I put the bedding at the back and his matts at the front with his hay and water . this means that he has no concrete to stand on which I prefer.
I've learnt after last couple of years not to be ott with his bed , I take out all the poos I see, but if there is...
My 5 year old has a net. I use shires haylage nets rather than haynets as these have smaller holes than haynets also the rope to tie them up seems to be good quality and quite strong. I tie them lowish so he's not stretching up to eat . I can't give it him loose he drags it into his bed and them...
I don't rug my youngsters, untill into proper work. I would put one on every now and again, when in the stable to get the tickle out of mine, but in this case I wouldnt. If she's unsure of you at the moment, then frighting her with a rug is not going to help your relationship with her.

Just a long wait till January now :)

So to edit what I have just...

Would ideally need picking up and dropping off in same day/night. None of this picking up a couple of days before hand and being taken to transports yard before being...
The best one I had for the field is a cheap £1.50 nylon one from my local farm and pet. It never rubbed and the metal roundings on them were small and square, the head collar was so soft and un stiff, it didn't rub my two when they wore them in the field last year. I always think aswell if...
Hello
Im new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could give me any information on an irish draught stallion Gleneven Rebel?
Has anyone got any horses out of him?
