Funny thing is that I was most impressed that their legs looked quite tanned. That shows it not real - 99% of riders, have very brown top halves, and milk bottles for legs!

No it doesn't. The rule now is that hair must be secured, ie. you can't have it loose, but in a pony tail it's OK. Must admit, I much prefer the smart hairnet look, but doesn't suit everybody, and as somebody says, you don't get points for appearance in SJ.
