    Anyone tow with a Toyota RAV4 2.2 D4D?

You have to have a 2006 model and it has to have the 2.2 D4D engine, if it's only the 2.0 litre engine then yes it is only 1500kg.

    Anyone tow with a Toyota RAV4 2.2 D4D?

I'm looking to sell my current L200 pickup that I tow with and want another vehicle that I can use to tow and I have been looking at the RAV4. I am having a baby in a couple of months so I will only be towing my son's 12hh pony in my ifor 505 (I'm old so passed my test in time to not need to do...

    Cleaning mould off a Wintec?

Don't know if it would work but I had to clean some mould off the fabric of a pushchair after being stored in our loft, and I used white wine vinegar. It did the trick perfectly, might be worth diluting it before putting on a saddle.

How are veteran classes judged at local show??

Hi I wasn't going to use the gag bit, as I am aware it isn't for showing! I can try him in a snaffle, he will be fine doing his show but I would be concerned about how strong he might get if everyone has to canter around together! He is on loan to me and his owner said he was registered...

How are veteran classes judged at local show??

I'm thinking of taking my 25 year old welsh section d x to a local show to do the veteran class. I assume I would turn him out as I would for m&m showing so unplaited and me in tweed. I know I don't have the correct tack, in that I only have a padded cavesson bridle, but my main 2 questions are...

Any Tack shop or Rug repair business owners out there!!

Hi, whatever option I take I would need to rent a premisis, the over heads do worry me. The rug washing is less of a start up cost, especially as I already have the sewing machine! But I actually enjoy the tack shop sales and have been doing it for nearly 3 years so would seem a shame to give up...

Any Tack shop or Rug repair business owners out there!!

I have been running my own online tack shop for the past few years but I am now at a point where I want to expand, and that means getting a premises. I know the area where I live does not have a local tack shop and a lot of my customers who buy off me locally are always asking when I will set up...

Hi My son has asked to go to our local show and wants to do the mountain and moorland class (his friend is doing it so he wants too!!) He has a lovely section A and I am ok with how to turn pony and son out. What I want to ask is my son is 4 but hasn't mastered rising trot yet and will only hold...

    Sewing Machine for Rug Repairs

Thanks, that gives me a good idea what to look for. Collection is no problem, as OH has a van with free fuel ;) I will bear in mind about the diseases on the rugs! Sounds like it's definitely worth investing in the walking foot

    Sewing Machine for Rug Repairs

Yeah I'm looking at spending £150 ish, as don't want to spend a fortune and then find no one wants their rugs repaired and I don't end up using it! Thanks Bakewell for your reply, sounds like a walking foot would be best in the long term. I've been using my old singer from the 70's to fix...
