I have recently bought the Haas set for my grey and I love them! They are absolutely amazing. The schimmel certainly gets whites white. How it does it I'm not sure but it does. These brishes are fab!
I was also going to say are you sure it's mites, my cob rubbed her hocks all the time. We thought it was mites but turns out she has arthritis and her hocks then started fusing
As above, it may or may not have passed more safety tests but if it doesn't fit correctly I won't work to its fullest. I wore HS1 for years because I liked what I heard about them. Had a bad fall once head first. Went the next day to get a new hat and said I wanted HS1 but I'm glad the lady was...
I like "Train your young horse" by Richard Maxwell. I find that doing things with them gradually to build them up to the day you finally get on really helps. My up and coming three year old comes out ponying with us now and again, so she's seen traffic, is seeing lots of different things, has a...
She has rubber matting down with shavings. But I usually just bring her in the stable just to untack, then she munches on some haylage whilst I faff then she goes out. She lives out but if it's bad she come in. I just always notice it on leading her out the stable after a few metres
Thank you - I've just looked at locking stifle videos and that doesn't seem to be the movement she's doing. She bends her leg in then kicks back twice or so. It is good to learn about all these different things though. I will try and get a video so you can see
Has anyone had any experience with a horse who randomly kicks out? I say kick but it's very gentle. I say randomly, when said horse is taken into stable for half hour or so, after being taken out of the stable she will walk a few metres then kick forward with back leg then kick backwards a...
Yes I do. They're pretty good. Just when you go to canter hold the horse you're on so they start cantering steadily. This will give the lead horse time to work out what's going on
I know this is a really old thread, but I wondered if anyone else had answers to this? Would be interested to hear if neoprene type boots or bandages would help keep hocks warm when turned out in winter at night time?
Oh dear! This has def confirmed it for me thank you. But sorry to hear you have wet feet. I'm sorry but your likeness to open toes sandals made me laugh
