Thank you, I was just wondering about people who may have donated and have subsequently had a change of heart, just idle curiousity. Any spare cash I have goes to the Brooke charity, not dodgy gfm.
I'm clueless about GFM, if its taken down due to fraud etc does everyone who donated get an automatic refund, or do you still have to request a refund? I've never donated through one, so I was curious because they seem so unregulated and open to abuse.
What absolute nonsense, that judge needs to educate themselves better. None of my grand prix horses ever had any joint injections, I know its common, but thats an appalling attitude from the judge.
There is a big range of prices at AM/PSG level, in the main it depends on scores at the level, potential to go further, age, temperament, and soundness, the horse in question does not warrant 150/160K.
@LadyGascoyne I totally agree, horses as business assets is hard, and it requires the rider to be tough and realistic. Personally, I know I'm not tough enough, I love my horses too much to be able to be business like about them, my job is teaching, my horses are my own. It was a number of...
I dont know Milly, but she seems like a nice girl, and a lovely rider, and I'm sure anyone who loves their animals can empathize with how much she wants to keep the horse.
But, the horse was bought as an investment, not as her forever horse, so this day, sad as it is for her, was always likely...
I do have Raynaulds, and FO is right, latex gloves underneath both/either your warm work gloves and riding gloves. Its the only way I can survive winter outside all day.
Its really tricky isnt it? I suppose it really depends on what you want the groundwork for, eg improving ridden work, less tension etc, I always did groundwork because I knew it was good for the horses, but it never grabbed me at all. The person who has made groundwork fascinating for me, and...
These are brilliant!
@palo1 try just thinking what you want before actually asking, its amazing what the intention alone can do, I'm not being totally daft, when you think it you make micro subconscious changes in your body, and your horse can read them.
@rara007 me too! The more I learn the...
