What are the things called that are like seesaws for horses to stand on to rock and learn to engage through their thoracic sling.... resembling a half barrel with a flat top?

A friend of mine has some firm sponge pads that her horse stands on, possibly a gentler version of a wobble board

I think I'd err on the side of balance pads. I've seen plenty of footage of horses playing with a wobble board, using really dysfunctional movement patterns, and seeing rehabbers etc pointing it out. Like so many things I think you need an already very functional horse (rare) for it to be beneficial, even then...

Cheapest way of all is to just train the horse to take its weight forwards and backwards without moving its feet.

This is being done as physio homework every day except Sundays already
