I have owned my mare for over 8 years and last winter she developed COPD, ever since then she has been more agitated during spring/summer months but this year is worse! I always ride her in the equilibrium nose net which worked great last year but doesnt seem to make much difference this year...

Hi I am looking at possibly buying a small horse box and was wondering what weight you can drive up to on a normal car license? I know you can with the 3.5 ton but can you with the 4.5? I would like a small box with a little living area but most of the small 3.5 ton boxes won't carry two...

She was fine for feed but wouldn't touch her hay whilst travelling, now she will happily munch. Only other thing I would suggest is Nupafeed liquid calmer. I put my mare on it when I got her and it was brilliant, it really takes the edge off a stressy horse. She's older now so doesn't need it...

I had a similar problem with my mare when I got her and she was also 4. She used to travel ok with the slight bang but would stress come off dripping with sweat. I have a trailer and also had some issues with her loading. I just had to practice loading her a lot and leaving her on the trailer...
