The thing is he works better without a bit for inhand. Thats y am wondering if i could do with an inhand bridle wihtout a bit?

I am competeing in the chiltern and thames show on 14th september and dont know wether i can show my 4year coloured non native cob x in a inhand bridle with no bit? Or do i have to show in a bitted bidle. Am very confused about all the different rules and cant seem to get the same answer form...
