    Thank you again for your comments, he will only be any good if i get off my backside and make sure he is going properly!! I presume I need to register with a society for coloured classes? Sorry, I am totally new to the showing world.

    Feed for keeping weight on - ideas please

    I always feed my horses bran, not 2 scoops though! My mother always used to say it keeps everything moving!! ie, no colicing or tying up, although I'm sure it's very old fashioned now. Bailys no 1 is fab for non heating weight gain. And of course Dr Green and good hay.
