Hey,
My horse has a mild cough and was going to try him on a supplement to see if it would help..
But he is super fussy eater. If the supplement has a scent, he won't even try it, if it has a taste he won't eat it....so frustrating.
At moment he has a Horselyx respiratory lick which he loves...
Our vet and farrier both recommended Terramycin Spray for WLD. Not sure if its the same as Alamycin spray?! But it worked for our horse. If you can keep the hoof clean and stopping mud and dirt tracking up into the nail holes it will help alot.
Yip totally agree with the others, as long as there is no physical reason why shes unbalanced there is absolutely no reason it cant be improved. My horse was totally unbalanced when I got him as a 12yo. Always swapping leading legs, getting disunited and just getting his legs in a right muddle...
I call it the T-rex noise :) They snort like thats for a few reasons. Sometimes when the exciting and got them self all worked up. My bosses horse snorts like that after he's be galloping around the field like an idiot.
But more often its them checking for danger. From what you've said about...

Glad you have ruled out sheep. We have the neighbouring farmers sheep on our fields. They are helpful to keep grass down in summer but overall just a pain. Like you said they are determined to die plus they break more fences than the horses and use the field troughs as baths and then break them...
I've had a few of their turnouts and have mixed feelings. The fit overall is good except with the neck covers. Have 2 combi rugs and neck is too small on both, have to put a chest expander on the neck cover to get it to fit. And another high withered turnout I washed and all the filling ended up...
One of the horses at my work had a keratoma removed at the end of 2013. He had it removed under a standing op. The first few months were quite alot of work, with flushing the wound and daily dressing changes. Then is was just waiting for his hoof to grow back which was around 11 months total...
Anno its a bit cheeky to ask...but i have been doing a lot of research on my horses past and he has a record of the bsja site but you need to be a member to see the full record, and i dont have a membership :( nor can i afford £53 for a non-jumping membership :( so was wondering if any lovely...
