    Show stallion for my mare?

Very true, and such a shame! None the less, he is definitely worth considering for anyone wishing to produce a potential hack, from a correct stallion with a proven track record.

    Show stallion for my mare?

Take a look at Comberton Cadet. We have a smart yearling colt by him we bred. Couldn't rate him highly enough! He is with Thisleton Stud in Cheshire.

    How much feed?!

It's difficult to build weight onto anything that is living out I find. However, I find it easier to put weight on something when feeds are divided into smaller portions , given more often throughout the day. If possible, why not try to provide 3 feeds throughout the day, rather than 2 larger ones.

Long or short boots; Coloured Ponies

Cheers guys. Most do ride in long boots, you do see the one or two about in short boots though. First time we've had anything in the unders class; hence this situation.

Long or short boots; Coloured Ponies

Hello All We will be showing our Coloured Traditional Pony under saddle this year. The rider is over 21, and IMO the overall picture looks better with jodhpur boots, as opposed to long boots. Are short jodhpurs ok for riders over 21 in the BSPA and CHAPS pony classes? Or, are long boots...

Hi all We are looking to buy a new coloured RP foal, as our coloured to be undersaddle from next year, and we enjoy the inhand too. Can anyone recommend any studs that are known for producing quality coloured riding ponys? I've been looking for some contact details for the Crafton...

    A 'behind' foal

Hi all We've a well bred Riding Pony foal that was born the end of May this year. We didn't breed her, we purchased her from a stud. I understand May isn't that late for many foals, although, in terms of physical appearance, this beautiful girl is very immature. Actual weight and coverage...

Horsebox Brakes - Getting hot, and even smoking

Thanks Becca! We too thought initially thought of this, but, the chap that took the wheel off and checked all over, said brake pads seemed fine, and caliper was working perfectly! Strange?? :S Plus, when you take your foot off the footbrake, the lorry does roll.

Horsebox Brakes - Getting hot, and even smoking

Hi Guys! Any mechanics on the forum at all? We would like to be your friend!! We have recently purchased a 75e15 Ford Iveco 7.5t horsebox, that sailed through it's plating around a month or two ago. However, when on our way to an event last weekend, around an hour into our jouney...

    Horsebox Lighting Installation

Hi Guys, just a quick one I've recent purchased a part converted Ford Iveco Horsebox, which has no lighting installed in the horse area/living at all. Can we wire this up from the Truck Batteries (truck has two batteries) for now, until we accumulate a seperate leisure battery? We only...

    Show Cob

**bump** I too would like to see responses/pictures of a young/foal Show Cob. I have coloured Show Cob, but he is 11, and I have been unsuccessful trying to find any pictures of his as a foal/youngster. I'm looking for a another show cob, preferably a foal - but just like yourself, would...
