Can anyone recommend a nice soft fly rug that doesnt rub? Currently using an amigo bug buster which rubs on the withers and my boy hasnt really got much wither. Many Thanks x
I feel crooked in my dressage saddle but I don’t feel like that in my gp saddle which I use to jump once a week. It’s odd that this saddle rubs on the opposite side to the last one. After the saddler had been I will try one the rider alingnment people, I already do Pilates
What have you people found to be the cause of saddles rubbing more on one side than the other? I know you can get a bit of damaged hair under the saddle this time of years, but my boys is worse on one side. Ive had this before but on the other side and that was a twisted tree😱. This...
Thanks
Cornish did you get this with both of yours and it got better with wear? Ive only had it 2 weeks so far.
The shop put some tape in to tailor the fit might give them a call to see its ok to peel it back out.
It seems to be the elastic bit that closes up the air vent that’s the problem. I had it properly fitted they said I needed to go down a size from what I normally had. I was hoping it would get better as I wore it but it hasn’t. I have one of the glitter Charles Owen hats...
I just got one of these - it was comfortable when I tried it in the shop. However it marks by forehead leaving a line like a sock mark. Its not painful but tonight nearly 6hrs after I took the hat off I still have a line which is a real nuisance as this is intended as my every day hat and...
My gp saddle is Kent and masters but the original one with a standard (rather than cob) tree. That seems to sit off centre. To be fair with his shape it's hard to know where the middle is!
Thanks I'm only tiny at 5ft nothing so can fit in a 16.5 to 17" saddle (my 17" gp is too big for me). My current dressage saddle is an ancient Barry Swain one I've had for 20years nearly but even that seems to be moving about.
After some suggestions for a jump saddle and dressage saddle for my horse. He's 15.2hh but very short backed. He's in either a mw or wide and has a small wither. His back is quite wide and barrel shaped so my biggest issue has been keeping the saddle central. It is such a pain trying find...
My boy has managed to bite a piece of his tongue right off this week 😁 Vet says it will be fine and is healing well. No idea what happened to make him do it. He was doing weird things with his tongue when we spotted it
I have an airowear outlyne, whilst it's not exactly comfortable (are any?), I don't have a problem with the length of it. I imagine it's a short one, I had I fitted at a shop. I'm only 5ft nothing
Thanks all
No option of using a different mix from chestnut feeds - the yard decides. The ingredient list was just so long it could be anything! Hes going onto just pony nuts for now hopefully that will sort it out. He's been going mad in the field too as if bothered by flies, even though he...
Thanks everyone
Had a look at the ingredients today it's actually the chestnut crystal, supposed to be suitable for laminitics, low energy etc. Was amazed to see it included micronised maize, sugar beet, alfalfa and I think it said barley. Didn't think you got more heating than that!
My horse...
The yard I am on have started feeding the above, I think the bronze mix. Has anyone any experiences good or bad? My horse seems to be losing weight on it and is very very itchy - to the point of stopping mid ride for a scratch which he has never done. Also seems a bit spooky.
Thanks
