this is an xray from my horse that was pts last week after fracturing his left hock.:(

i know..i am reluctant to send it away too...only thing we have left of our poor man!:(

no he wasnt insured (typical eh? we didnt renew it 3 months ago because it was going to be over £100 a month to insure him!):o

Our Belgian warmblood who was pts on friday obviously has a passport but there are no pages in it for filling in details re him being euthanased. the vet told us to post it back to the belgian warmblood society but i cant see an address that it should be posted to! is there a uk based belgian...

the equine vet came out this afternoon and xrayed him...she phoned a few hours later and broke the bad news that he had a very bad fracture to his hock she had never seen such a severe break on a horse that hadnt been kicked...but since he is in a field with no other horses that couldnt be...
