Our Belgian warmblood who was pts on friday obviously has a passport but there are no pages in it for filling in details re him being euthanased.
the vet told us to post it back to the belgian warmblood society but i cant see an address that it should be posted to! is there a uk based belgian warmblood society or could i post it to the warmblood society of the uk?

Are you claiming on insurance at all?
I had to send the passport off to them and they forwarded it to the company who issued the passport for me

I know I should not say this but I have a real problem with sending my passports back when I lost my horses. They were my horses, my passports paid for by me so why send them back. I am still not ready to let go either as they keep the memory alive.
The cattle ones are different as we do not pay for them we get a single farm payment to follow the rules.

Weatherbys just void the passport, update their records and return them - don't have a problem with sending mine back at all - it's a horrible thing to have to do though, kinda the final conformation that it hasn't all been a horrible dream.

Google the passport issuing organisation & should get an address from that. U can then fone & confirm they will return 2 u once updated
That's what I did & passport returned v quickly- should add I wasn't the owner if my horse (uni passport just never did change of ownership stuff) but I enclosed a pleading letter with passport & got it back- & quickly!
