Tacking up - have to put the saddle on first, then when it's taken off I always remove the girth totally. Wash bit after every use. Can't stand it when people whinge about how difficult it is to clean bits when if you rinse it after every use there's no need for scrubbing! Flash noseband always...

I rode 2 weeks later & competed at PN a month later - was painful to begin with but I was fine competing, however mine has now healed and I 'slump' my shoulder on that side because the bone joined together wonky so I look half round shouldered. Not a great look! I'd advise you to stay away...
