    Lazy horse?

If you have to school, could you try setting something up in the field?

Help on finding horse to exercise.

I've posted this on another thread recently so sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I've found the following a good place to start: Horsemart Horsequest FridayAd Horses4homes On here - h&h Righthorserighthome Local tack/feed shops Any local horsey magazines Word of mouth! Good luck!

Best place to advertise for a sharer?

It's a shame you are so far away from me as he sounds lovely! The only thing I would say is there's a bit of a balancing act between charging a monthly amount (which of course is justified!) and finding someone who knows what they are doing! A payer doesn't always mean competence but then a...

Best place to advertise for a sharer?

There are definitely people who still want to share - me being one of them! I tend to look on the following, so these might be a starting place to advertise: Horsemart Horsequest FridayAd Horses4homes On here - h&h Righthorserighthome Local tack/feed shops Any local horsey magazines Word of...

Top tips for keeping bum in saddle in canter?!

I found that what really helped me was almost to forget about sitting in the traditional sense. Relaxing your hips and just sort of feeling the horses movement meant I could move with the horse rather than just focusing on sitting. All the usual things like heels down, slightly gripping with...

How do you secure your dog in the car....

I’m sure there are probably crates which are much better and safer now than they used to be that I don’t know about! I do have a different view re the seatbelt though. Because seatbelts ‘lock’ in an emergency, the dog was actually very secure and it wasn’t a harness that plugged into...

How do you secure your dog in the car....

We always had a harness that the seatbelt passed through so that our dog was secure in case of an accident. She could still move around and was comfortable. Personally, I’d not be keen on putting the dog in the boot with a guard or crate because if you are in an accident, there is nothing to...

Let’s find a horse for SLH

Hi SLH, I've followed your story with interest since you got Bailey home (but still a new poster!). https://www.freeads.co.uk/uk/buy-sell/equestrian/horses-ponies/cob/35543897/17-hh-shire-x-cob-12-year-old-piebald-steady-neddy/view#.XOWYy-tKiRs I've seen this gentleman who sounds like he MAY...

I have a Lonsdale one that you can get in most sports shops. Less than £10 and holds everything in place!

Country boots that don't cost the earth and will last more than a year...

I would definitely recommend the Toggi Calgary boots. Mine were roughly £80 online, I've had them probably three years and still going strong! Also suitable for hacking/schooling if you can't be bothered to change boots!
