It's for my 12 year old mare, called Ruby. She's a KWPN by Wolfgang x Glendale.
She doesn't need her name in the showname at all, but it's allowed. We will be competing in dressage, so keep it beautiful! :D
I think why I dislike them is because Cobs (or chunky horses) are hated over here. I just have been brainwashed by the cob-haters and it's normal over here. Everyone and everything is a warmblood.
Should go over to the UK and ride on one or something.. maybe I'll change my mind.
Who says their not loveable and sweet?! Their characters are fantastic, got to say that, but why breed with a cob (or a chunky clumsy built horse)?! And the horsemarket isn't doing very well either.
I am always harsh when it comes to comformation. Otherwise I get crap foals that are worth 2000 euros and won't be great sporthorses, but just a happy hacker. Breeding a good quality foal that makes it to the top is tough in Holland, so you have to be strict and harsh.
...dislikes cobs and any other large, clumsy horses or ponies?
I don't hate them, I do like the heavy types (got a Fjord myself). But most of the cobs are: Bay, big head and have a clumsy build. They are sometimes the most rediculous cross of breeds.
And still people keep breeding the most...
This is my own broodmare:
She is way out of perfection, these are the imperfections:
-Short frontlegs
-Heavy on the forehand
-Not built uphill
-heavy shoulder-neck transition
-Big shoulders
-Jaw to big
-Back too long
-Shoulder too upright
She doesn't always look so digusting and ugly. :D
