Me too - I have fallen off three times in my limited riding career - first time six years ago, a bucking broncing young cob resulted in ambulance, suspected broken pelvis and crutches for 6 weeks with torn pelvic ligaments. Second time, two months ago- my first ever horse whom I'd had for 4...
If this was my daughter, I would be approaching the owner to ensure she was not making a nuisance of herself, not sitting back and allowing her to do this! I would not be allowing her to do this without checking it was ok. I can understand the girl, and had a similar experience at an old yard...
I lunge in the Pessoa every second day.....long and low, to try and build his back and topline, after his diagnosis of KS in jan - I also love to see his movement and knowing that I am helping him getting fitter.....next step is to get him lunging over poles to help him lift back feet and engage...
Mine picks his feet up in turn without being asked......puts his nose in the headcollar, lowers his head for taking bridle off (not so much on lol), moves without being asked while I muck out round him, and removes all hats from my head - he seems to hate them...:-)

To buy a trailer
To enter in a few show hunter classes
To perhaps try a wee jump for first time ever
Non-Horsey -
cut down alcohol, more housework, and lose weight lol
I left my boy standing in the school whilst I picked up several scatterd poos.......he followed me for ten minutes like a dog, right at my back, turning on a sixpence to make sure he was right behind me the whole time :-)
