    Someone once threatened to sue me but they were just trying to get money out of me with no reason. Just document everything, get other people on the yard to write down their account of the accident and the times surrounding it. Unless the girl was seriously injured then i can't imagine they will...

    Potential new horse help

    i personaly love mares but there are definitely mare people and non-mare people. you just have to "get" them and their way of thinking. people who can do that love mares and some people just dont get them and i would advise them to stay well clear of mares.

    quick idea of how much horse might be worth?

    I would say around the £5k mark but its hard to say on such little information. Horses aren't going for much right now so it could be less or take a long time so sell. The price just really depends on more details on the horse like mileage, how easy he is to ride and does he have any problems.

    have you asked a vet on whether the locked stiffle could be hereditary? if it isnt then there is no reson why you couldnt breed a nice foal which will not inherit the problem
