We also have deer ticks in oyur fields and this year we haven't had a single one attach to any of the horses....so they have either moved elsewhere ( unlikely) or the tritec repells them? It says it works agaianst ticks and lice so presumably it will repell both too.

I use my Tritec every day on my mare who is extremely sensitive to flies. I spray her in the stable so the excess falls on the bedding and it keeps the stable fly free in the bargain - from the research I have done its an insecticide not a horse- ecide LOL

deffo the Tritec for the sweetitch - the mossies that cause it don't have a sense of smell ( according to the National Sweetitch centre lady) and our pony was terrible until we used this last year. She now lives out all summer - no fly rugs but has the most distugusting sticky up bog brush...

I have an aged grand prix jumping pony that is an angel - now jumping 80-90cm's- problem is her front legs are nearly trashed. which are the best comp boots to jump in if she has had prev tendon probs or should I bandage?

my friend has a pony with sweetitch that lived out all year last year with no ruggs and didn't rub at all! Theres a American fly spray called Tritec 14 now in britain that keeps on the hair for up to two weeks and stops the midges going anywhere near the pony. her pony has sensitive skin too...
