Hi!
My youngster usually has good and healthy looking stools. However, these past two days it's been loose with some outline of defined balls. It's the same colour.
He is his usual self, no diet has been changed. Only difference is a slight change in his work.
Any ideas what it could be? Or...
Hi!
My standardbred loves his evening meal. He's being worked more than before and so we've started to add oil to his feed. However, he doesn't touch his dinner if it has oil in. Is there any other substitute for oil?
Thanks!
He listens more to me from the ground than on him. Working on it.
Just to put you in the picture, he was broken to sulky racing at a very young age probably as a yearling. He was then sold on to a riding school who eventually had him up for sale due to him being too much work. He's been at me...
He lunges over a pole with me at the end of it as a barrier on the left rein. As soon as we switch to the right rein he spins and changes direction. I left him for a good couple of months thinking he needed to mature some morextra but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference.
My 5 yo anglo arab refuses to walk over poles on the lunge. He will follow me over them if led and will even follow and sniff them when I'm placing them on the ground in arena.
He lunges lovely and listens to commands walk trot and canter. Will put up a fight to walk over them when ridden...
My youngster (4 years approx) is fed 5kgs of hay and 4kgs of haylage a day. We do not have the facility to turn out on ad lib as not enough grass grows in the country. He also gets 2 scoops of hifi and 2 1 scoop beet a day.
He has developed a hay belly, has good energy levels and loves to eat...
Hi!
Looking to buy a comfort bridle for my youngster. I have looked at the Shires Avignon Comfort Flash bridle. I'm confused because the description says detachable flash attachments, but it doesn't look like this. Anyone can confirm it does detach completely to look like a snaffle bridle...
yes he does seem very confused! I can already see lots of change in him :) he's a lovely chap and very willing. He's grown loads in just 4 months! Taking it slow for him to grow more confident too!
Here is the cheeky chap :)
