Is this your first time dressage writing? I've never written for any music tests but have had to switch to a different test numerous times when we are expecting a competitor to turn left and instead they turn right so having to write a test rather off the cuff - all I can say is abbreviate where...
Oh please. You cannot decide whether a saddle fits or not by looking at photos on an internet forum!
Ring up the saddler, ask if they can come out and check it again and if you can have another week to trial it as you haven't had a chance to try it due to the horrid weather.
However, if I...
Are you planning to do the 1'3'' clear round and then the first class? If you are I would advise you get there EARLY, and do the clear round before the speedy kids on their 12.2hh jumping ponies arrive (where they will do the clear round and the next 3 or 4 classes). When I have done the clear...
I am a 5 minute drive away. When it stops raining (!), the ground dries up well and fast; I guess it depends if it will chuck it down on Monday and Tuesday and totally saturate the ground!
West Wilts - really nice facilities (new huge outdoor is super!) but turnout not great for liveries. Also hacking is dire!
Horse Croft has closed down.
No idea about Whitehill.
I'm at Wick Yard :D but we have no spaces atm.
Hartley Farm is nice, okay hacking, all quiet country lanes, nice...

The first place I always start is with an OS map (or Street map online), find the best hacking and then work around that. Nearly every yard in...
The photobucket account that the photos are linked from show a few other photos of the horse being ridden, not pro pics.
Not sure if that counts for anything!
If I were you I would get some boots and pads and boot her up and get her walking out in-hand. Is she turned out? What is she fed? My pony came in with laminitis last week and is on box rest but I boot her up twice a day and take her on a 10 minute walk, more for her sanity, but it gets the...
My dales pony is hunter clipped (but growing out), is being turned out in hw turnout and her thermatex, and then at night a mw stable rug is added. She is stabled at night, but hates the snow, today is the first day she's wanted to stay out for longer than an hour, she's such a wimp.
Unless you have a contract stating that all year turnout is provided, you don't have the power to insist on the turnout. It is the YO's land, and she may be thinking about the safety aspects of turning the horses out on the snow - if she turns your horse out, and whilst leading it to the field...
