its so difficult when animals have formed bonds isn’t it. I’m just hoping she finds a nice older pig to be friends with. But if can’t find a new “room mate” at least there will be other piggies around. She wasn’t tied to the hip of the pig I lost, she would hang out on her own and you would see...
Thanks everyone for your replies. Esther and Jules those were places I had considered so happy you’re recommending them. I’ve actually managed to get her into Blackberry and will be dropping her off tomorrow evening.
it’s so hard. I feel like I’m in a lose lose situation. She’s unhappy on her...
Just seeking advice from anyone who’s either given up or taking in an old guinea. I had 2 pigs that are sisters (actual sisters) that I’ve had since they were babies and are coming up to 6 years old. We sadly had to have one put to sleep on Monday night. We knew it would be on the cards and we...
I have an equine science degree and currently work in equine insurance so I am using it. However, it is a very niche market and jobs very rarely pop up.
When I did my degree (2002, god I feel old!) I wasn’t expecting to get a job in the equine industry. I just wanted a degree and liked horses...
I just remember being miffed when she got Rapide because at first she didn’t like him and I was sitting at home ponyless bring grumpy that she had two ponies and seemed ungrateful ?

If there is no hatcam/dashcam/CCTV you may struggle, but a solicitor will be able to advise (probably for free) based on initial information as to whether they think you have a case or not.
I guess you didn't get a reply to your complaint because doing so could be seen as admitting liability...
Yep I used to teach at 17/18 without qualifications and probably no insurance either.
Used to canter on Road verges too.
The livery and riding school horses used to all eat barley that was rolled on site with chaff that we made ourselves and sugar beet. The sugar beet was so watered down for...
I think you would struggle to find somewhere that offer such short term cover, you would have to get an annual policy if you’re wanting vet fee cover. It’s also unlikely the company would offer cover if the owner has the horse insured under their own policy.
Ah ok. I was thinking that would be grounds for the seller to accept a return but I guess they could argue it is irrelevant and it would be hard to prove.
You may have a case if the vet can vouch for you trying treatment and then a return to exercise has resulted in a pain response. A LOU...
